Zerona Laser Results

Out with the old and in with the new: that is what the Zerona Laser is doing to the weight loss industry. Instead of going in for an invasive surgery to shed the stubborn fat, patients are now going into doctors’ offices for “body sculpting” visits. The combination of removing surgery from the process and physicians seeing better than expected results makes the Zerona Laser one of the top options for new weight loss patients. The Zerona results have been life changing for many people around the country.
There are countless Zerona reviews online of how the laser technology helped people to shed the inches that they have been struggling to lose for years. Many people in the world work out daily, eat a healthy diet, and lead an overall healthy lifestyle, but they still have trouble areas on their body they wish to have shaped. That is when the Zerona is a perfect solution and is the most effective.
There are several people who have posted Zerona videos online about how happy they were with the treatment and why they recommend this procedure over other options such as traditional liposuction. Here are just three of the videos showing the results from happy Zerona Laser patients:
The Zerona Laser is not meant for everyone, though. It is not a weight loss procedure as much as it is a sculpting/fat loss procedure. So, someone with significant weight to lose is not a candidate. The laser is meant to sculpt the body all over and the results show people’s bodies have lost inches evenly rather than in one spot. This is where the results are different than liposuction because liposuction targets one specific area to remove fat from. The benefit of “sculpting” your body instead is that you will feel good all over and your body won’t be uneven in spots.
Many patients also report that they feel healthier, more energetic, and motivated to lead a healthy lifestyle after going through with the procedure. It is hard to measure the mental benefits from a surgery but the patients are reporting that they have begun to make better and more conscious decisions after the Zerona Laser treatments.
Overall, the Zerona laser out performs the other options for tightening up your body. There is no surgery involved, you can get on with your day immediately after a session, and many patients see inches lost after just a few treatments. It is almost too easy compared to what people have been going through in the past to fit back into their skinny jeans.

Testing for AIDS

If one fears they may have been infected with HIV or AIDS, it is critical that they undergo the proper testing as soon as possible. Thankfully, many types of accurate medical tests are now available to determine if actual treatment is necessary. After infection first occurs, it may take anywhere from two weeks to six months for antibodies of HIV to appear in the bloodstream. During this time, a person is still capable of transmitting the disease, even though the test will not be able to detect any antibodies in the blood. Tests to detect the virus are usually done at six weeks, three months and six months to determine possible infection.
When to test
A P24 elisa kit is usually the first test of choice utilized in order to discover if one is HIV positive. If test results indicate that HIV antibodies are present, then the test is recommended to be administered twice for accurate confirmation. In most cases however, if test results are negative, no further testing is needed. After the first few weeks of infection, the odds of a test providing false results are actually quite minimal. Only a very small sample of blood is necessary for this test in order to detect the presence of HIV antibodies. The testing process itself may take anywhere from three to four days to complete and return results.
Determining results
The precise method of undergoing an HIV p24 elisa test involves lab technicians processing a person’s blood to obtain the serum. This serum is then applied to a plastic plate, which contains pure, inactive antigens. When the patient’s serum is applied to the plate, HIV antibodies, if they exist, will attach to the antigens. The plate is then washed with a solution, so that only the antibodies and antigens are present. Then, an enzyme is used to treat the sample, which will attach to any antibodies. This will lead to a chemical reaction, which will in turn cause a color change if a person is indeed HIV positive.
Further testing
Test results for a P24 elisa kit are reliable nearly 100 percent of the time. However, false readings are possible, though extremely rare. Conditions such as syphilis, lupus, and Lyme disease could all lead to the possibility of a false positive test. A positive elisa test can be followed by a Western blot test in order to confirm laboratory results. A patient should expect lab results within one to two weeks. A positive Western blot test will indicate that a person is clearly infected with HIV. However, if this test comes back negative, it can prove that an elisa test initially resulted in a false positive outcome.

What’s the Word on Cosmetic Procedures?

Plastic surgery—it’s like coffee. One day, experts agree it’s good for you. The next, studies find it’s the root of all evil. How do you decide if plastic surgery is right for you?

A Good Morning America article by Bianna Golodryga reveals a startling fact: many teenage girls are getting Botox injections. It possibly makes more sense that they’d be undergoing breast augmentation or rhinoplasty—but Botox? Botox is generally reserved for those who find lines and wrinkles on their face as a result of aging. Teenage girls don’t need to worry about this, do they?

Psychology and Plastic Surgery

The psychology of body image and health seems to be pulling us every which way. Fashion magazines and Hollywood films tell us to be thin, be perfect. Yet, many modes of popular media tell us to celebrate our bodies and faces just as they are. Doctors and fitness experts tell us 30 pounds extra is not beautifully curvaceous, it’s obesity.

We learn that looks don’t matter—that psychological health is signified by our abilities to feel comfortable in our own bodies. Then, we learn psychologists agree that a little plastic surgery is healthy—if it helps boost self-esteem, it’s perfectly fine.

Where do we draw the line between what’s healthy and what’s not when it comes to plastic surgery?

In her article, Bianna Golodryga pointed out that some doctors turn away these teenaged Botox seekers. For one, nobody knows what the health impact of Botox would be, if started so young (that could accumulate to 60, even 70 years of Botox injections), and second, teenaged skin doesn’t need it. This turns a generally harmless procedure into a proponent of obsessive behavior (of course, there are exceptions).

As a case study, let’s drag Heidi Montag from the shadows of post-reality non-fame. It’s said that in one session, Montag underwent ten different cosmetic procedures. It seemed apparent that she wasn’t getting a self-esteem boost, but that she was psychologically ill. There might not be a lot of difference between her and a fresh-faced 15 year old wishing for Botox injections.

Perhaps part of a plastic surgery consultation should be performed by a psychologist. Without being able to rule-out plastic surgery, a psychologist could still provide proper council about what state of mind the patient is in, and advise them as to whether or not the procedure would be healthy for self-image or fuel to an unhealthy flame.

Bianna Golodryga’s article shows both ends of this debate, but leaves us wondering: if plastic surgery really does help us increase self-worth, how much of our self-worth should come from how we feel about ourselves physically?

How Has the Importance/Requirements of PE in Elementary and Middle School Shifted Over the Last 30 Years?

Times are changing. The world is moving fast. Technology is constantly advancing and the economy is always in flux. Schools and education have to keep up with the changing times, whether it’s new lesson plans, new curriculum, or new textbooks.
Despite what you might think, the changing times affect every aspect of education; that includes physical education programs. It’s easy to see some of PE’s more superficial changes. Schools tend to incorporate equipment bought in at least the last decade.
However, the more important changes deal with the physical education curriculum as well as the attitude surrounding the importance of physical education in school.
Going by the Plans
Physical education lesson plans have seen a large change over the past few decades. Originally, most curricula stressed reducing the risks of cardiovascular disease that might start in childhood.
This eventually expanded. The curriculum is now designed to stress living an active life while also incorporating necessary social skills. The emphasis has shifted more to fitness; reduced risk of cardiovascular disease would be a result.
Stressing Health
There’s no denying how important health is, especially in this day and age. Amongst the youth, about one in three kids is overweight. Given the ongoing trends, about a third of all children born in 2000 or later will suffer from diabetes at some point in their lives.
Being overweight at such a young age puts kids at risk for a wide variety of health problems, including asthma, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and even cancer. That’s not to mention the psychological and emotional risks. Overweight and obese kids tend to suffer from low self-esteem and low self-confidence.
But What About Physical Education?
As important as health—more specifically, children’s health—is, there seems to be a distinct lack of interest in supporting physical education programs. In fact, most all education programs seem to suffer from criticism and intense scrutiny. As important as teachers are, they remain far underpaid and underappreciated.
In the past, high school required four years of physical education class. This has diminished to just two or less years. This is trickling down to middle and elementary school programs. Despite the current trends of childhood obesity and overall sedentary lifestyles, not many people seem to perceive physical education as a critical solution.
It might be this sort of backwards thinking that has led to our current problems. However, there’s an educational revolution afoot. Hopefully, in the years leading to the end of this decade, we can see some necessary changes that support education to improve student learning and, by association, improve health.

How Does Zerona Work?

In this day and age, looks are important. Looking good is akin to feeling good. We all want the most fashionable clothes and the hippest haircut. Health plays into looks as well. We’d all like to look slim and lean, free of any fat or pudginess.
However, regardless of all the dieting and exercise, we might still find ourselves plagued by imperfect bodies. Those tiny pockets of fat are not so easy to get rid of, which is where the Zerona treatment comes into play. Zerona reviews are positive and prove the procedure’s efficacy.
Zerona before and after pictures show astounding results, but how does the Zerona treatment work?
About the Zerona Laser
The Zerona is a low level medical laser. You may check Zerona laser reviews to understand just how effective the treatment is, but the key is the laser’s low frequency and intensity.
Most people who see lasers on TV or in movies might think of them as purely destructive, but reality tends to skew drastically from fiction. Low level lasers present no harm or damage to tissue. In fact, low level lasers work on a molecular level by altering cellular function to bring about larger changes. The Zerona, for instance, leads to weight loss.
Here is the difference between the Zerona laser and other surgical weight loss procedures. Traditional liposuction and gastric binding, which are the most popular of these procedures, require incisions and anesthesia. After going through the wringer, your body will need weeks of recovery.
Zerona, on the other hand, is completely non-invasive: no incisions, no anesthetic, and no recovery periods. Most patients return directly to their everyday activities immediately after the procedure.
The Zerona Process
The Zerona laser procedure consists of three simple steps. You, the patient, are free to relax during the entirety of the process.
When the laser is applied to the target area, it gradually disrupts the fat lodged within cells. The fat slowly begins to emulsify within the individual cells and eventually evacuates the cells entirely. It should be noted that the cells remain unharmed.
The fat moves into the interstitial space between cells. At the same time, circulation around the cells increases allowing the fat to transfer to the body’s lymphatic and circulatory systems. From here, the fat breaks down and flushes out of the body by natural means.
As effective as this procedure is, remember that maintaining the results in the long term is a matter of healthy diet and exercise.
